Eagerly awaited since the arrival of the new Ultegra R8020 group, the new Shimano 105 R7020 11s group is now available to satisfy the frames of cyclists of all levels. As usual, the 105 R7020 groupset incorporates the technological advances introduced by its big brother. It has been mechanically revised to provide solutions that have already been proven. Lighter, stiffer and above all more efficient, this new 105 R7020 11v will certainly equip a large number of bikes in the coming years!

Considered a centerpiece of the transmission, the crankset takes up the design of the FC-R8000 and its 4 asymmetrical branches with a single 110mm center distance, as well as its oversized and lightened cranks, improving rigidity and power transfer.

Like the R8000, the 105 R7020 rear derailleur benefits from Shadow technology, originating from mountain biking. The Shadow system places the derailleur body under the cassette and keeps it an equal distance regardless of the cog used. This is to protect the derailleur in case of falls or projections. It also uses Direct Mount for a stiffer derailleur/frame assembly and improved shifting.
