Award-winning at Eurobike 2018, this full-face helmet is designed around an outer shell made of lightweight, fiber-reinforced Polylite material. It uses two layers of absorbent material of different densities, expanded polystyrene (EPS) and expanded polypropylene (EPP), to handle both large shocks and light impacts. Reinforced by an exoskeleton, the injected Polyacrylite chin guard also incorporates a layer of absorbent foam (EPP).
In addition, the MIPS membrane (Multi-directional impact protection system) adds additional protection in the event of an oblique impact, to reduce the risk of concussion in the event of a heavy fall.
This TLD Stage helmet also does everything for the comfort of the pilot, who will appreciate the layout of the X-Static interior padding, which uses more or less thick foam around the neck (25/15 mm), on the skull (13/10 mm ) and cheeks (35/25/15 mm), where the coating is particularly soft. Very breathable, these foams provide better control of bad odours.
Super well ventilated thanks to its 25 openings - 11 air inlets and 14 air outlets - this TROY LEE DESIGNS helmet is equipped with a height-adjustable visor and a Fidlock buckle, with magnetic closure.
