Developed as part of Castelli's Fast Feet project, Castelli Fast Feet 4 Sock White are designed to maximize bike aerodynamics. Their leg part in grooved Lycra® aims to reduce the air resistance, while the foot portion resumes the design of the Castelli Rosso Corsa Sock to preserve the comfort inside the shoe.

Aerodynamics even in socks

To develop the Fast Feet 4 Sock, Castelli has studied aerodynamics taking into account the movement of the lower part of the leg during the pedaling. The brand has created a device reproducing this movement and has also carried out cyclists tests to verify the results obtained.

This approach leads to a specifically developed Lycra® leg portion to reduce air resistance, with an advertised gain of up to 2 watts at 50 km / h. The foot part, based on the Rosso Corsa Sock, is thought to preserve the comfort in the shoe. This fourth generation also benefits from an improved cut at the top band to optimize both comfort and aerodynamic performance.
