Shimano Ultegra C 36 R8170 wheelset, Centerlock disc version, tubeless ready

The Shimano Ultegra C36 R8170 wheelset , perfectly matched to your Ultegra R8100 road bike groupset with Center Lock disc brake, is equipped with 36 mm carbon rims. Unlike the Dura-Ace R9200 wheels, its steel ratchet freewheel is compatible not only with 12-speed cassettes but also with 11-speed ones. Versatile and efficient, this tubeless model particularly stands out in the mountains thanks to its tubeless compatibility, its rigidity and its low weight. The rims, with an internal width of 21mm, fit tires up to 32mm wide and feature the wind tunnel-tested D2 aerodynamic design. The 24 butted stainless steel spokes, with a specific lacing pattern on the rear wheel, ensure optimal spoke tension balance.

The 12mm thru-axle hubs, incorporating E-Thru technology, guarantee improved torsional resistance. Stainless steel tapered bearings ensure durability and ease of maintenance.
