The Bosch Remote LED Smart System handlebar control allows you to control your electric bike without the need for a control screen. It integrates a Bluetooth module and control LEDs. These LEDs tell you about the battery charge status and inform you of the assistance mode in which you are riding.

The Bosch Remote LED Smart System control unit concentrates all the intelligence needed to manage your e-bike. This not only allows for a clean and tidy cockpit, but also makes repairs and maintenance easier. The different assistance levels can be freely selected via the buttons on the control. The colored LED strip lets you always know which assistance mode you are in. The current battery status is also permanently displayed. Also, an ambient light sensor adapts the intensity of the LED lighting. You can also connect your smartphone via Bluetooth. With the Bosch eBike Flow app you can adapt your Bosch Smart System motor optimally to your needs.

MOUNTING THE BOSCH REMOTE LED SMART SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT

To mount the Bosch Smart System LED Remote handlebar control, you will need the Bosch LED Remote bracket. You can mount it in front of or behind the brake lever. When orienting the control on the handlebars, make sure that the plus and minus buttons are perpendicular to the ground. The LED Remote handlebar control incorporates a battery. After a long period of immobility, it may be necessary to recharge it via the USB-C port. As a general rule, charging is provided by the battery of the electric bike. This battery can be replaced.

COLOR SCALE OF THE BOSCH REMOTE LED CONTROL

The Bosch Smart System LED Remote handlebar control has a sophisticated display. Different LEDs and colors tell you the information you need to know about your electric bike. Assistance levels are displayed in gray for assistance disabled, green for Eco mode, blue for Tour mode, purple for EMTB mode and red for Turbo mode. A blue battery bar is 20% battery capacity - a white bar is 10%. As soon as the charge is less than 30%, the bars are displayed in orange. If the battery indicator LEDs are red, there is only 10% battery left. If the indicator flashes red, the battery is empty and only has energy to operate the lighting system. You recognize a critical error message by a completely red LED on the control unit. If the command is completely orange, this is a non-critical error. The Bosch eBike Flow app allows you to get more information and help if necessary.

To change the System Controller battery, you will need a Torx bit and the Bosch Smart System Control Unit Battery Removal Tool.
