The Trek Inbound+ 2 B 540 Lowstep combines the low frame, the Gates belt and a 540 Wh PowerTube battery around a 45 Nm Bosch motor housed in the rear hub. It weighs 21.40 kg in size M according to Trek. Buff Beige, a very light sandy beige, gives it a soft, bright look.

Who is it for?

For anyone who wants an e-bike that's easy to step through, with no gears to manage, but with enough battery for long rides on the flat. It will suit seniors and smaller riders alike, from size S, intended for 147 to 155 cm.

This model combines three simple ideas: a Lowstep frame you step through effortlessly, a Gates Sidetrack belt that does away with chain and grease, and a 540 Wh PowerTube battery, 50 % more than on the Inbound+ 2 B LS. In short: at 21.40 kg in M, the Inbound+ 2 B 540 LS adds 180 Wh to the belt-drive Lowstep for 900 g more. It stays lighter than the R10 LS, but keeps a single speed: it's made for flat or gently rolling routes.

The principle is simple: you step on through the front of the low frame, choose an assistance mode and pedal. No derailleur, no chain, no adjustment: the Gates belt transmits your effort silently. The Bosch hub motor supports each pedal stroke progressively, up to 25 km/h.

With 540 Wh, the battery offers a good reserve for rides of several hours. To look after it, ideally charge it before it's completely empty, and store it indoors in winter. The Shimano hydraulic brakes need no effort to operate, a real comfort for your hands.
