However, it is still possible to tighten these nuts with a traditional 6-sided spoke wrench if necessary.

The wrench is particularly suitable for high profile rims, up to 100mm in height. Used with a spoke lock, it is suitable for DT Aerolite and NewAero spokes, preventing the spokes from twisting during assembly.
