The Goodyear x ZIPP XPLR Intermediate tire is part of a revolutionary gravel wheel and tire system, designed to fit the ultra-wide Zipp 303 XPLR S and SW rims. This versatile gravel tire is optimized to provide a fast wheel-tire combination on all types of gravel surfaces, whether dry or mixed.

Current gravel wheel systems are generally slightly reinforced versions of those used on road: light, stiff, narrow and aerodynamic. However, riding on gravel causes harmful vibrations that slow the rider down and increase fatigue over time. Additionally, traditional gravel tires often negate the aerodynamic benefits of narrow road rims. The new XPLR wheel and tire system takes a completely new approach by optimizing component dimensions to deliver the fastest installation on the market.

In addition to providing exceptional aerodynamic benefits for gravel riding, the rim width also helps reduce tire pressure, which helps filter vibrations and save energy. The XPLR Intermediate offers the most versatile gravel setup with 303 XPLR wheels, being suitable for most situations. Its tight central pattern ensures fast rolling, while the larger side blocks guarantee good grip and increased confidence when cornering. Its light and flexible construction improves ride quality.

M:Wall reinforcements on the sidewalls of the tire provide protection against cuts and pinches, allowing the rider to use the lowest possible air pressure. Finally, the tire bead dimensions are designed to ensure easy mounting and secure retention on Zipp TSS rims. Only approved tires may be used on XPLR wheels.
