The Cervélo AB08 carbon handlebar is specifically designed to fit exclusively with the Cervélo S5 proprietary cockpit, models from 2019 to present. This system is not compatible with other frames or stems. Cervélo provides its dealers with spacers and shims to adjust the angle and height of the AB08 cockpit.

The Cervélo S5's pursuit of integrated aerodynamic performance and racing efficiency guided the development of its frame, fork, and front cockpit. While the cockpit components are designed to work together, they retain modularity, allowing for adjustments in stem length and handlebar width. However, once the cabling and housing are fully integrated, any cockpit modification requires complete disassembly of the system. This must be performed by an authorized Cervélo dealer.
