Helmet Abus Airbreaker | BMC Factory 2025 is a high-end road helmet, developed in collaboration with professionals to meet the requirements of cycling competition. It is designed to accompany the most intense efforts, both in the mountains at low speed and during fast and flat phases, where aerodynamics becomes essential.
Thanks to the innovative multi speed design with an internal honeycomb structure, the Airbreaker combines a powerful ventilation and an excellent penetration in the air. This architecture makes it possible to adapt the airflow to the control conditions, to ensure constant thermal comfort and optimum efficiency.
The multi speed design rests on a honeycomb structure that balances ventilation and aerodynamics. The ventilation is maximum during slow phases and climbs, while the aerodynamics is optimized on the fast sections.
Strengthening the structure by ACTI CAGE ™ technology makes it possible to create large ventilation openings while maintaining high stability and excellent helmet resistance.
The ventilation openings are connected to each other by internal channels, in order to direct the air incoming in a targeted way through the helmet. This system ensures maximum air circulation and contributes to a pleasant climate for the head.
The zoom ™ spin system, with dial on the back of the head, allows a precise and individual adjustment of the headset at the header.
Thanks to the height adjustment, the headset is compatible with long hairstyles such as ponytail, bun or braid.
Flow straps ™ straps are aerodynamic and designed to reduce air resistance and noise noise. Styled straps, without splitter, offer precise fit and do not float while driving.
Classic engagement closure, ensuring safe and convenient use with a triangle connection.
Internal padding is fixed by several clip points, which makes it more mobile. This design improves internal ventilation and port comfort.
Recesses at the front and back of the helmet make it possible to place the glasses in a safe and aerodynamic holding position, both rolling and stopped.
The helmet is manufactured according to the in-Mold process, wherein the expanded polystyrene damping material (EPS) is directly injected into the polycarbonate outer shell (PC). This method guarantees a durable and robust assembly.
