Numbness, pins and needles, wrist pain: on an upright bike, much of your weight rests on your hands, and round grips concentrate pressure on the nerve in the centre of the palm. Oxford's Lock-On Ergo grips widen the contact area with an ergonomic wing that spreads the pressure and soaks up some of the vibration.

Ergo or Slim?

The Lock-On Ergo grips are all about comfort: hybrids, city bikes, touring, e-bikes and leisurely MTB rides. For more aggressive riding where you change hand position often, the round, slim Oxford Lock-On Slim grips are a better fit. Fitting: angle the wing slightly downwards, in line with your forearm and a straight wrist, then tighten the clamps.
