Ergon GP3 Regular MTB Grips

No more wrist pain. No more numb fingers. Here are the promises kept by one of the brand's best-sellers, the Ergon GP3 Regular grips . Whether you're mountain biking, fitness biking or touring biking, the GP3's three-finger palm rest has proven itself everywhere. Optimized ergonomics and functionality, superior quality, tested and approved for the well-being of the back. The clamping mechanism (patent pending) makes assembly quick, simple and efficient. Approved for carbon handlebars.

Nerve relief

When you ride, your hands support much of your body weight on the handlebars, putting a lot of pressure on a relatively small grip surface. In many cases, this pinches the extremely sensitive ulnar nerve that runs near the base of the palm near the little finger and near the surface of the skin, often causing numbness. The wing grip increases the support surface of the hand by distributing pressure over a wider surface, thus avoiding discomfort.

Ergonomic solution

If your wrist is bent too much for too long, the nerves, tendons and blood vessels are compressed. The result is that the carpal tunnel is constricted, which could damage the median nerve. Long journeys and fatigue make it even more difficult for the cyclist to maintain a correct and healthy posture. Ergon 's trademark wing design for GP grips gives the hand extra support and automatically places the wrist in a more ergonomic position, preventing numbness, tingling and pain.

Two sizes for individualized control

To help you maintain perfect control over your bike, your hands should not completely wrap around the handle, which is why the Ergon brand offers many handles in two diameters - Small and Large. The difference refers to the width of the grip (hand size), meaning a larger hand will fit better on a thicker grip, while a smaller hand will fit better on a thicker grip smaller. For hand/glove sizes 6.5 to 8.5 inches (approximately 16.5 to 21.5 cm), the Ergon brand recommends Small, for 8.5 to 10.5 inches (approximately 21.5 to 21.5 cm). 26.7 cm), Large is generally better suited.

Tested and approved for back well-being: Action for healthy backs

Back pain is the most common condition. Particularly when this happens while cycling, the joy of riding is diminished. In extensive test procedures by an interdisciplinary expert panel consisting of doctors, orthopedists and physiotherapists, the beneficial effect for the back of the GP3 grip has now been officially confirmed.

Exclusive quality

Handle rubber Made in Germany - The material used in Ergon handles meets the highest purity standards, is TÜV certified, durable and absolutely unique in the world of bicycle handles. Developed using medical grade white oil as the sole plasticizer. The UV-resistant rubber compound was developed and is manufactured exclusively for Ergon in Germany. Ergonomics, product design and engineering - everything is made in Germany.

Play it safe

Locked for Safety - The GP Series clamping system is extremely secure and easy to mount. Each handle is tightened with a single bolt to reliably secure its position and prevent twisting. Another important safety feature is that Ergon 's aluminum clamps are cold forged, not extruded.

Comfortable touch handle

It's in the mix - Minimal friction - maximum comfort: Grip confidence is enhanced with Ergon 's super soft, UV resistant and durable compound and specific texture patterns. In addition, your driving pleasure is increased with a pleasantly perceptible tactile sensation.

Always the perfect size

Fits Any Type of Shift Mechanism - Some models in the GP series, including the GP3, are available in special versions for different shifting capacities. For regular changing, both handles are the same length. The version for Gripshift® or double twist shifts includes two shortened handles, for Rohloff®, Nexus® and single twist shifts only the right side handle is shortened.
