Ergon GP3 BioKork Regular MTB Grips

No more wrist pain. No more numb fingers. The GP series is a perfect solution for common wrist pain during cycling. In particular, the Ergon GP3 BioKork Regular grips offer a sustainable approach to ergonomic pain relief with its blend and numerous hand position options. Other benefits of this grip include the pure rubber compound, easy-to-install clamping mechanism, back-approved ergonomics, and carbon handlebar approval.

Nerve relief

When you ride, your hands support much of your body weight on the handlebars, putting a lot of pressure on a relatively small grip surface. In many cases, this pinches the extremely sensitive ulnar nerve that runs near the base of the palm near the little finger and near the surface of the skin, often causing numbness. The wing grip increases the support surface of the hand by distributing pressure over a wider surface, thus avoiding discomfort.

Ergonomic solution

If your wrist is bent too much for too long, the nerves, tendons and blood vessels are compressed. The result is that the carpal tunnel is constricted, which could damage the median nerve. Long journeys and fatigue make it even more difficult for the cyclist to maintain a correct and healthy posture. The GP Series' wing design for the grips gives the hand more support and automatically places the wrist in a more ergonomic position, preventing numbness, tingling and pain.

Two sizes for individualized control

To help you maintain perfect control over your bike, your hands should not completely wrap around the handle, which is why Ergon offers many handles in two diameters - Small and Large. The difference refers to the width of the grip (hand size), meaning that a larger hand will fit better with a thicker grip, while a smaller hand will fit better with a thicker grip. smaller. For hand/glove sizes 6.5 to 8.5 inches (approximately 16.5 to 21.5 cm), the Ergon brand recommends Small, for 8.5 to 10.5 inches (approximately 21.5 to 21.5 cm). 26.7 cm), Large is generally better suited.

Tested and approved for back well-being: Action for healthy backs

Back pain is the most common condition. Particularly when this happens while cycling, the joy of riding is diminished. In extensive testing procedures by an interdisciplinary expert panel consisting of doctors, orthopedists and physiotherapists, the beneficial effect for the back of the GP3 BioKork grip has now been officially confirmed.

Biological

40% cork - The BioKork version of the successful GP series combines ergonomics, durability and a comfortable feel, made of 40% cork. The material comes from organic farming in Portugal and meets strict ecological guidelines. In the internal support, 20% of the plastic is replaced by grass fibers.

Ecologically sustainable

Ergon “GreenLab” Initiative - Sustainability is a priority at Ergon . As part of the "GreenLab" initiative, packaging is made from recycled materials, and entire products such as the GP3 BioKork are made from particularly environmentally friendly materials. All parts of the handle are manufactured in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Play it safe

Locked for Safety - The GP Series clamping system is extremely secure and easy to mount. Each handle is tightened with a single bolt to reliably secure its position and prevent twisting. Another important safety feature is that Ergon 's aluminum clamps are cold forged, not extruded - resulting in a much stronger structure. GP grip versions with lightweight bar ends - made from fiberglass composite and with grippy rubber inlays - offer additional positions for added comfort.

Comfortable touch handle

It's in the mix - Minimal friction - maximum comfort: Grip confidence is enhanced with Ergon 's super soft, UV resistant and durable compound and specific texture patterns. In addition, your driving pleasure is increased with a pleasantly perceptible tactile sensation.

Always the perfect size

Fits any type of shift mechanism - GP series grips are also available in different versions compatible with different types of twist shifters. With standard shifters, both handles are the same length on both sides. For Rohloff®, Nexus® and Single-Twist-Shift, the handle is shortened on the right side to accommodate the shift mechanism.
