Forged in Nevers for bike park and downhill

The top of LOOK's flat pedal range, the Trail Roc+ was developed with Thomas Genon, a big name in slopestyle and freeride. Its forged aluminium body, made in LOOK's Nevers factory, carries 10 replaceable metal pins per side on a concave platform: your foot locks into the centre and stays put, even when the ground drops away. The 16 mm profile limits pedal strikes, and the combination of two ball bearings and an inner bushing ensures smooth rotation over time.

Trail Roc+ or Trail Fusion?

Do you mostly ride bike parks, dirt jumps or technical descents where every foothold counts? The Trail Roc+ delivers what composite can't: the stiffness of a forged body, two extra pins per side and a profile 2 mm lower. You gain precision and foot retention, for around 70 g more per pair. The Trail Fusion remains the right option for trail riders who want a light, grippy flat without going alloy. As for riders tempted by clipless, the X-Track En-Rage Plus keeps your foot attached but requires dedicated cleats and shoes: the Trail Roc+ leaves you completely free to put a foot down.

LVR workshop tip

An aluminium body needs looking after: check the pins are tight after your first few rides and keep a few spare pins in your pack. Before fitting, grease the axle threads to stop them seizing in the crank, especially on a bike that's often hosed down. Once a season, open the pedal to clean and regrease the bearings: that's what keeps them running smoothly.
