THE Cervélo Áspero-5 Red AXS 1 digital moss 2027 is the most exclusive version of the Áspero-5 range, designed for cyclists who want a competition-ready, ultra-fast, lightweight carbon gravel bike equipped with the best components SRAM. Designed to win races, it incorporates all of Cervélo's aerodynamic expertise and applies it to modern gravel racing.
The new Áspero-5 is advertised as being 37 watts faster than its predecessor and 34 watts faster than its closest competitor. Despite this enhanced aerodynamics, it's 66g lighter than the previous generation. With clearance for tires up to 45mm, integrated downtube storage, and optimized geometry, it's ready for fast, technical, and demanding gravel rides.
This Red AXS 1 version combines the Cervélo Áspero-5 frame with an electronic drivetrain SRAM Red AXS E1 with power meter, a rear derailleur SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS T-Type, a 10-52 tooth cassette, Reserve carbon wheels 48 GR / 53 GR with hubs DT Swiss 240 and tires Vittoria Corsa Pro Control TLR in 700x42c. A very high-end build, designed to maximize speed, efficiency and precision in racing.
The Cervélo Áspero-5 2027 is developed for pure gravel performance. Its carbon frame leverages over 30 years of Cervélo expertise in aerodynamics, with a clear objective: to offer a faster, more efficient, and race-ready bike.
The new Áspero-5 is advertised as being 37 watts faster than the previous generation and 34 watts faster than its closest competitor. The frame shapes, integration, and cockpit have been optimized to reduce drag on fast gravel courses.
Despite the addition of surfaces designed to improve aerodynamics, this new generation is announced as being 66g lighter than its predecessor. The result is a bike that is more responsive, more agile, and more efficient at accelerating.
The Áspero-5 incorporates a storage system in the downtube, directly inspired by the Cervélo P-Series. It allows you to carry an inner tube, tools and a repair kit inside the frame, in a clean, discreet and aerodynamic way.
The Cervélo All-Carbon Tapered Áspero Fork provides precision, stiffness and control on fast gravel courses, degraded roads and more technical trails.
The frame accepts tires up to 45 mm, in order to adapt the bike to different terrains: rolling gravel, rough tracks, fast paths or long distances.
With tires of the same width, for example 42 mm front and rear, the Áspero-5 maintains stable and reassuring handling. Cervélo has also optimized the geometry for a setup with a 4 mm difference between the front and rear, for example 40 mm at the front and 44 mm at the rear, in order to improve aerodynamics and handling on less technical courses.
The Cervélo HB16 Carbon handlebar with 31.8 mm clamping contributes to the bike's aerodynamic integration. It offers a high-performance position, precise steering, and good control on fast terrain.
The Cervélo ST31 Carbon stem completes the cockpit. The handlebar and stem combination contributes to an aerodynamic saving of nearly 6 watts on the new Áspero-5.
This version is equipped with levers SRAM Red AXS E1, the top-of-the-range road/gravel groupset from SRAM. The electronic gear shifting is fast, precise and perfectly suited for gravel racing.
The crankset SRAM The Red 1 AXS E1 features a 48-tooth aerodynamic chainring and an integrated power meter. This setup allows for precise monitoring of effort, optimized training, and performance management during races.
The single chainring setup simplifies use, reduces the need for gear changes, and is perfectly suited to fast gravel riding. It offers a clean, efficient, and competition-oriented look.
The rear derailleur SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS T-Type delivers high-end, precise and responsive electronic shifting, with a design tailored for modern wide-range transmissions.
The cassette SRAM The XX SL Eagle T-Type 10-52 tooth chainring offers a very wide range. It allows you to ride fast on rolling sections while maintaining gears suitable for steep climbs, long ascents and demanding gravel terrain.
The chain SRAM XX SL Eagle T-Type completes the high-end transmission and ensures optimal compatibility with the Eagle AXS T-Type group.
The levers SRAM Red AXS E1 brakes provide powerful, progressive, and precise hydraulic braking. Their high-end ergonomics offer excellent control on long descents, fast sections, and technical passages.
The discs SRAM Paceline X Center Lock offer high-performance and consistent braking, suited to the level of demand of this Red AXS 1 version.
The Cervélo Áspero-5 Red AXS 1 features a Reserve 48 GR front wheel and a Reserve 53 GR rear wheel. This differentiated carbon build is designed to improve aerodynamics, efficiency, and stability on fast gravel courses.
The wheels are equipped with hubs DT Swiss 240, a high-end reference recognized for its reliability, smoothness and excellent performance.
Reserve wheels are tubeless compatible, in order to improve comfort, traction and puncture resistance on gravel terrain.
The original equipment includes tires Vittoria Corsa Pro Control TLR G2.0 in 700x42c, chosen for their performance, grip and control on fast or uneven surfaces.
The Cervélo SP27 Carbon seatpost contributes to the overall integration of the bike, while also contributing to comfort and performance over long distances.
The saddle Fizik Vento Argo X1 provides a sporty and high-end seat, suitable for intense efforts, long rides and a high-performance position.
The case SRAM DUB Wide Ceramic T47 BBright offers excellent rotational fluidity, good stiffness and a reliable solution for a competition gravel bike.
