On a gravel bike, just a few centimetres less saddle height is often enough to ride a rocky descent with more composure. The Seekrun S8 Gravel 75 mm gives that clearance to 27.2 mm frames, without a single cable. Its short overall length of 382 mm makes it compatible with small frame sizes and short seat tubes, where a 100 mm post would sit too high.
No internal housing, no drilling, no routing through the frame: the S8 replaces the stock seatpost and the remote clips onto the curve of the drop bar, reachable without letting go of the hoods. It is the simplest way to upgrade a gravel bike that is already built, including a carbon frame with no dropper routing.
The 75 mm version puts compactness first: 132 mm of exposed post is all it needs with the saddle down. It is the right choice for shorter riders or frames with a steeply sloping top tube. If your frame allows it, the 100 mm version (407 mm) gives you more room on steep descents. Both share the same compact remote, the same battery and the same app.
Measure your saddle height and the available depth in the seat tube before choosing: a minimum insertion of 120 mm is required. Tighten the seat clamp to the torque specified by the frame manufacturer, without overdoing it, so you do not slow down the post's action. Recharge the battery every few rides: one hour is all it takes.
2-year warranty, spare parts available.
