The Cervélo S5 Lupine frameset 2026 is designed for demanding cyclists seeking maximum aerodynamic performance. With a sharp design and speed-oriented geometry, this frame incorporates the iconic visual elements of the S5: integrated V-steel, bayonet fork, and flowing lines optimized for efficiency. 6.3 watts faster and 124 grams lighter than its predecessor, this frame retains the balance, stability, and handling for which the platform is renowned. It provides the ideal foundation for a custom, race-oriented build.

Aerodynamics

The 2026 S5 boasts a 6.3-watt gain over its predecessor. This performance improvement stems from extensive work on the front of the frame, particularly the fork legs and head tube, as well as the integration of asymmetrical profiles on the seat tube and rear wheel. Cervélo estimates this frame to be at least 5 watts faster than its main competitors.

HB19 handlebars and aerodynamic position

The HB19 one-piece carbon cockpit incorporates the "Plus-Four" concept: the width at the brake hoods is 4 cm narrower than at the drops, reducing aerodynamic drag without compromising stability on descents or sprints. All dimensions comply with the latest UCI regulations.

Weight reduction

Despite a larger frontal area, the S5 2026 frame boasts a weight reduction of 124 grams thanks to the optimization of the carbon layup and an adjustment of the structural components.

Wheel compatibility Reserve 57|64

The S5 was developed in collaboration with the Reserve brand to make the most of the 57|64 wheelset. The asymmetry of the rear wheel follows the profile of the seat tube for smoother airflow and a gain of 3 watts compared to the 52|63 wheels, without any added weight.
