Vision SMR 31.8mm Stem

FSA 's SMR system - Smart Cable Routing - has been developed around a versatile combination of stem and headset that allows multiple possibilities for integrated or semi-integrated cable routing.

FSA has applied all its know-how in the development of components for the headset and the cockpit in the SMR System, in order to be able to offer an extremely versatile and adaptable "plug-in" solution for the internal passage of the cables, housings and hoses from the cockpit to the frame, compatible with electronic and mechanical shifting systems as well as hydraulic and mechanical brakes.

The Vision SMR stem is not only suitable for full internal cable routing from handlebar to frame through stem and headset, but also for the semi-integrated method, where cables and wires run under the stem and are maintained by the SMR cache. The length-adjustable joint cover offers thin and aerodynamic protection while allowing the passage of cables without having to remove the stem.

The stem has been constructed from 3D forged and CNC machined 6061 aluminum, glass bead blasted and finished in black anodized. The 4-bolt clamp plate, also made of aluminum, accepts handlebars with a clamp diameter of 31.8 mm. The stem angle is slightly tilted at -6 degrees.
