The Megamo Jakar 30 deep green 2027 is an aluminum gravel bike designed for riding on asphalt, dirt roads, and gravel tracks. Its triple-butted AL 6061 gravel frame uses hydroformed tubes and internal cable routing, while its carbon fork contributes to comfort on uneven surfaces.
This version features a 20-speed Shimano GRX RX-400 drivetrain with a 46-30 tooth double chainring and an 11-36 tooth Shimano HG50 cassette. This setup offers a wide range of gears to adapt pedaling to flat sections, long distances, and changes in gradient.
The Jakar 30 also features Shimano RX-400 Flat Mount hydraulic disc brakes, Megamo Gravel GR 700 tubeless-ready wheels, and WTB Riddler 700x45 tires with tan sidewalls. Its Megamo gravel cockpit is paired with a Satori New Viper stem, the length of which varies depending on the frame size.
The Megamo Jakar 30 2026 is based on a triple-butted 6061 aluminum gravel frame. Its triple-butted 6061 aluminum construction aims to combine strength, lightness, and reliability for use on varied terrain.
The frame uses Hydroformed technology, which allows the tubes to be shaped according to the specific constraints of the different areas of the bike.
The brake and drive cables are routed internally through the frame. This integration minimizes their visibility and contributes to a cleaner finish.
The frame uses a 12x142mm thru-axle.
The rear brake is mounted according to the Flat Mount standard.
The Carbon Disc Fork is made of carbon. It helps to absorb vibrations encountered on rough roads, paths and gravel tracks.
The cable routing is integrated inside the fork to extend the clean finish of the frame.
The fork uses a 12x100 mm thru-axle.
The front brake caliper uses a Flat Mount mounting.
The FSA Orbit-Z headset uses a semi-integrated design with a 1-1/8" standard.
The drivetrain consists of a 10-speed Shimano RX-400 rear derailleur and a Shimano RX-400 front derailleur. This double chainring configuration offers a total of 20 speeds.
The Shimano RX-400 rear derailleur controls the 10 sprockets of the cassette.
The Shimano RX-400 front derailleur ensures the shift between the two chainrings of the crankset.
The crankset has two chainrings with 46 and 30 teeth. This combination allows for a large chainring for flat sections and a small chainring for climbs or more demanding sections.
The Shimano HG50 cassette offers a range of 11-36 teeth over 10 speeds.
Braking is provided by a Shimano RX-400 hydraulic disc brake system.
The frame and fork use Flat Mount fittings for the brake calipers.
The bike is equipped with Megamo Gravel GR 700 wheels designed for gravel riding.
The wheels are TLR, meaning tubeless ready, and can accommodate a compatible tubeless setup.
The WTB Riddler tires have a size of 700x45. This size is suitable for use on a mix of roads, dirt tracks and gravel roads.
The tires receive tan sidewalls.
The Megamo Specific Gravel HB FOV Compact handlebar adopts a compact format designed for gravel riding.
The Satori New Viper stem is manufactured using 3D forging. It uses a clamping diameter of 31.8 mm and features a reversible angle of plus or minus 7º.
The bike is fitted with a Megamo seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm.
The assembly is completed by a Selle Royal SRX Open saddle.
The Megamo Jakar 30 is designed to handle both paved and unpaved surfaces. Its aluminum frame, carbon fork, and 45mm WTB Riddler tires make up a build suited to mixed terrain.
The combination of 46 and 30 tooth chainrings with the 11-36 tooth cassette allows the gearing to be adapted to rolling, hilly or steeper terrain.
