THE Cervélo S5 Dura-Ace Di2 five black 2027 The S5 is a carbon aerodynamic bike designed for pure speed, sprints, attacks, and the fastest races. A benchmark in the professional peloton, the S5 draws on a long history of victories at the highest level, with a design conceived to maximize aerodynamic efficiency without sacrificing handling, balance, and stability.
This new generation of the S5 goes even further: it's announced to be 6.3 watts faster than its predecessor and 124 grams lighter. The main gains come from the front of the bike, with a deeper bayonet fork, an optimized head tube, and a new one-piece Cervélo HB19 Carbon cockpit inspired by the iconic V-shaped stem of the S5.
In this Dura-Ace Di2 version, the Cervélo S5 receives an electronic transmission Shimano Dura-Ace R9200/R9270 12-speed, a dual-sided Precision Pro GEN3+ 4iiii power meter, Reserve 57TA / 64TA carbon wheels with hubs DT Swiss 180 and tires Vittoria Corsa Pro TLR G2.0 in 700x29c. A very high-end build, designed for cyclists looking for a fast, light and uncompromising aero bike.
The Cervélo S5 2027 is designed to maximize speed on the road, whether in races, sprints, on rolling sections, or during high-intensity attacks. It retains the balanced handling for which the S5 is renowned, while further improving its aerodynamic efficiency.
The new S5 is advertised as being 6.3 watts faster than its predecessor. The aerodynamic gains come mainly from the front of the bike, with a significantly optimized fork, head tube, and cockpit.
Despite deeper profiles and increased surface area, the new S5 is claimed to be 124 grams lighter than the previous generation. Cervélo has optimized the carbon layup and components to improve the entire system.
The Cervélo All-Carbon Bayonet S5 Fork directly contributes to the bike's aerodynamic performance. Its deep, integrated design allows for better management of airflow at the front, a key area for reducing drag.
The S5 is one of Cervélo's most iconic bikes in terms of aerodynamics. The frame shapes, bayonet fork, one-piece cockpit, and wheel integration are all designed to minimize air resistance at high speeds.
The fork legs and head tube have been significantly deepened to maximize aerodynamic gains. This optimized frontal area is one of the key performance elements of the new S5.
The integration of asymmetrical seat tube and rear wheel profiles also contributes to aerodynamic gains. The aim is to promote smoother airflow around the frame/rear wheel assembly.
The Reserve 57TA front and 64TA rear wheels were co-developed by Reserve and Cervélo for the new S5. Their Turbulent Aero design is intended to work with the frame and optimize the overall performance of the bike.
The Cervélo S5 Dura-Ace Di2 is equipped with the new Cervélo HB19 Carbon one-piece cockpit. It significantly contributes to the bike's aerodynamic gains, while providing very clean integration and a high-end finish.
The HB19 handlebar uses the Plus-Four concept: the width at the hoods is 4 cm narrower than at the drops. This design allows for a more aerodynamic position at the hoods, while maintaining stability and control at the drops for descents and sprints.
Cervélo offers several cockpit size combinations to adapt the S5 to the rider's position. The goal is to maintain aerodynamic gains while ensuring a consistent and high-performance fit.
This version is equipped with electronic transmission Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 12-speed, the high-end benchmark Shimano for the road. Gear changes are fast, precise and smooth, perfectly suited to the demands of a racing aero bike.
The crankset Shimano The Dura-Ace R9200 with a 54/40 tooth chainring is geared towards performance and speed. It allows you to maintain high gears on the flats, in sprints, and on fast sections.
The dual-sided 4iiii Precision Pro GEN3+ power meter accurately measures the effort of both legs, providing reliable data for training, racing, and performance analysis.
The cassette Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 11-34 tooth 12 speed provides a versatile range, allowing you to combine speed on the flat and efficiency on climbs.
The front and rear derailleurs Shimano Dura-Ace R9250 ensures fast, precise electronic gear changes that are perfectly consistent with the performance level of the S5.
The levers Shimano Dura-Ace R9270 components control the Di2 drivetrain and hydraulic brakes. Braking is powerful, progressive, and precise, suitable for high speeds, fast descents, and demanding races.
The discs Shimano CL900 Center Lock offer high-end, consistent and efficient braking, in line with the level of demand of the Cervélo S5 Dura-Ace Di2.
The Cervélo S5 Dura-Ace Di2 2027 is equipped with Reserve 57TA carbon wheels at the front and Reserve 64TA at the rear. This differentiated setup is designed to optimize speed, aerodynamics, and stability at high speeds.
The Reserve 57TA / 64TA wheels were co-developed by Reserve and Cervélo specifically for the new S5. The asymmetry of the rear wheel matches that of the seat tube to promote smoother airflow.
The wheels are mounted with hubs DT Swiss 180, a very high-end reference recognized for its fluidity, lightness and performance.
Reserve wheels are tubeless compatible, allowing you to optimize performance, comfort and puncture resistance depending on the chosen setup.
The tires Vittoria Corsa Pro TLR G2.0 in 700x29c offer excellent performance, high-performance grip and a modern section adapted to the aerodynamic wheels of the S5.
The Cervélo SP34 Carbon seatpost is designed to integrate with the S5 frame and contribute to the overall aerodynamic performance of the bike.
The saddle Fizik Arione R1 Light provides a sporty, lightweight seat adapted for performance road riding.
The CeramicSpeed SL BBright bottom bracket for 24 mm axle optimizes rotational smoothness and transmission efficiency.
