Shimano RC810 Black Road Shoes: Performance Inspired by S-PHYRE

The Shimano RC810 Black is designed for cyclists seeking a high-performance, precise, and comfortable road shoe for both intense training and competition. Directly inspired by the development of the S-PHYRE range, this new generation benefits from a construction entirely focused on pedaling efficiency and foot support.

The RC810 combines a rigid carbon midsole , a double BOA Li2 closure system, and the new SHIMANO DYNALAST 2.0 fit. The goal is to achieve perfect foot support without unnecessarily compressing it, especially during long rides and intense efforts.

DYNALAST 2.0: More space in the forefoot

The new SHIMANO DYNALAST 2.0 last significantly improves the fit. Shimano has increased the available volume in the forefoot to allow the toes to assume a more natural position while pedaling.

This design aims to minimize pressure points while maintaining the support necessary for a performance shoe. The RC810 is available in narrow, standard, or wide versions, allowing you to select the width that truly matches your foot shape.

Dual BOA Li2 for a precise fit

Two BOA Li2 dials allow for precise adjustment of the fit across different areas of the foot. The wraparound upper complements this adjustment to provide consistent support for the foot, from the instep to the front of the shoe.

At the rear, an external heel stabilizer helps to keep the foot correctly positioned when the intensity increases, particularly during accelerations, restarts or efforts while standing.

Stiff carbon sole and low profile

The RC810 uses a hollow-structure carbon midsole designed to promote direct power transfer to the pedal. Its channels also contribute to airflow and water drainage.

The seamless construction reduces the height between the foot and the pedal. This compact design contributes to the direct connection feel sought after in a high-end road shoe.

New Shimano SPD-SLR compatibility

The RC810 adopts the new Shimano SPD-SLR road interface. It notably offers a wider cleat adjustment range, providing more possibilities for adjusting their position under the foot.

Cleat positioning remains a crucial element for comfort and pedaling efficiency. Adjusting the cleats to your body shape is particularly recommended on such a rigid and precise shoe.

An RC810 designed to last

Shimano also equips the RC810 with replaceable heel pads . Components subject to wear during walking can therefore be replaced without having to prematurely change the shoes.

How to choose the width of your Shimano RC810s?

With DYNALAST 2.0, Shimano offers several fit volumes. The Standard version fits most feet and offers more room in the forefoot than the previous generation. The Narrow version reduces the volume around the forefoot, while the Wide version provides more room for cyclists with wider feet.

LVR Cycles tip: Don't automatically choose a Large version simply to gain more room in the toe box. DYNALAST 2.0 already offers more volume in the forefoot. The width you choose should primarily correspond to the actual width of your foot.
