The Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium in size XS for thin faces, shown here in a matte white frame with a category 3 silver mirrored lens.
The Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium, sized for narrow faces
Scicon has released its Aeroshade 2.0 Titanium, the glasses worn by Tadej Pogačar, in an XS size for riders with smaller faces. You get the same solid titanium arms machined in more than twenty steps, the vented Grilamid TR90 front and the height-adjustable nose pad, with a more compact lens that suits a narrow face better.
The matte white front gives a clean, bright look, perfect with a helmet or kit in light colours, and pairs with the Multimirror silver lens. This category 3 lens (12% visible light transmission) cuts glare decisively: it is the lens to choose for riding under a high sun, on the road or on gravel.

Aeroshade 2.0 XS or standard Aeroshade 2.0?
Both share the same technical base: titanium arms, TR90 front, FlexiFit 2.0 nose pad and the same 40 g weight. The difference is in the lens, reduced to 137 x 57 mm on the XS against 143 x 58 mm on the standard version. In practice, if sport sunglasses often slide down your cheeks or stick out well beyond your temples, the XS is made for you. It is also the size we recommend first to riders with narrow faces and to junior riders (our advice). The easiest way is to compare the two on your face: drop in to the shop in Béziers, we have pairs to try on.
LVR workshop tip
The matte white and silver pairing is the one we recommend to riders who mostly ride in summer and around midday. For early-morning rides or long stretches through forest, switch to the supplied pink lens.
To clean, rinse the lens with clean water after a dusty or salty ride, then wipe it with the microfibre pouch, never with the hem of your jersey. Avoid household cleaning products, which would attack the Nanotech coating.
