Cutting-edge technologies

Zipp incorporates Total System Efficiency (TSE) technology, a comprehensive approach to addressing the main factors that cause speed loss: wind resistance, weight, rolling resistance, and vibration. Hookless rims (with straight sides) improve the transition between tire and rim for increased aerodynamics and weight savings, thanks to more efficient distribution of resin in the carbon structure.

The ZR1 SL hub used on this NSW version is designed for racing. It features hybrid ceramic bearings, 66 points of engagement, and a weight reduction of 30 grams compared to the previous generation.
