THE Amflow PX Carbon It shares exactly the same architecture as the PX Carbon Pro: same carbon frame, same adjustable geometry, same motor Avinox M2S and the same battery of 700 Wh. The difference, therefore, lies not in the power or the chassis handling, but in the quality level of certain components: an electronic transmission SRAM S1000 Eagle Transmission rather than X0, aluminium wheels rather than carbon, and FOX suspension in Performance version rather than Factory.
In practical terms, this results in an e-MTB. Enduro / All-Mountain Equally capable on the trail, but with a more accessible entry point into the PX range. This is the bike we recommend at LVR Cycles to those who want the power and geometry of a true Amflow Enduro, with standard wireless electronic transmission, without necessarily aiming for carbon wheels or the finest level of suspension adjustment.
On the Amflow datasheet, these three values often appear together. However, they do not measure the same thing, and it is useful to distinguish between them before comparing bikes.
|
150 Nm Maximum engine torque The rotational force that the motor can provide to the pedals. This is what helps on steep climbs, accelerations, and technical sections. |
1500 W Peak power The maximum instantaneous power that the motor can deliver for short periods. It does not indicate the range. |
700 Wh Stored energy The amount of energy available in the battery. This value, combined with the terrain and the chosen mode, determines the actual range. |

This is the most important point to know before ordering: across its entire mountain bike range, Amflow runs significantly smaller than most other brands. This is not unique to the PX Carbon nor an impression based on an isolated test: it is a characteristic of the entire range, including the PX Carbon Pro.
The most telling proof: Amflow does not offer a size S in mountain biking., simply because the M already plays this role. At the other end of the spectrum, we find a XXL — a size that exists almost nowhere else — precisely because the XL Amflow is actually equivalent to a standard L.
In practice, if you know your usual size with most brands, always count one size larger than Amflow:
| Your usual size (other brands) | Equivalent Amflow size |
|---|---|
| S | M |
| M | L |
| L | XL |
| XL | XXL |
The pilot size chart provided by Amflow (further down this page) remains your primary reference, along with your actual measurements. However, keep this difference in mind, especially if you fall between two sizes: in this case, We almost always recommend choosing the next size up..
If in doubt, contact LVR Cycles With your height, inseam, current bike and riding style, we can guide you precisely.

The PX Carbon targets the same playing field as the PX Carbon Pro: demanding trail riding, all-mountain, and enduro. It's a bike for riders who need a real power reserve on climbs and a chassis capable of maintaining pace on technical descents, not for those primarily looking for a leisurely ride.
What changes is the profile of the pilot to whom we advise him at LVR CyclesThe PX Carbon is very suitable for those who want the same Enduro architecture without necessarily seeking the latest component refinement. Electronic transmission SRAM The S1000 Eagle Transmission remains perfectly reliable under heavy use, and aluminum wheels often absorb big shocks better than a carbon rim — an argument that counts for regular and demanding use.
The engine Avinox M2S The components fitted to the PX Carbon are exactly the same as those fitted to the PX Carbon Pro: 130 Nm nominal torque, until 150 Nm maximum torque, and a power output that can reach up to 1500 W peak under the conditions provided by the system. This reserve becomes useful as soon as it is necessary to restart on a steep slope, cross a step or maintain strong assistance on a long technical climb.
As on the Carbon Pro, Avinox sensors and algorithms constantly adapt the assistance to pedaling rather than sending a constant torque to the wheel: power delivery remains progressive, even in Boost mode when the terrain demands the maximum from the system.
The PX Carbon retains the integrated battery Avinox FP700 of 700 Wh (approximately 3.18 kg), for a total of 500 advertised charge cycles. Amflow reports up to 144 km in Eco mode based on its flat test protocol with an 80 kg rider — a standardized value, not to be taken as a promise of range in real mountain biking use.
In practice, range depends primarily on elevation gain, rider weight, the assistance mode used, the rider's contribution, the terrain, temperature, and tire pressure. A short ride with significant elevation gain can consume more fuel than a long ride on flat terrain. LVR Cycles, Therefore, we prefer to reason based on your practice rather than announcing a fixed figure.
Regarding charging, the Avinox 508W / 12A fast charger allows for the recovery of a significant charge in a single break, with a stated time of approximately 1 hour 16 minutes to go from 0 to 80%. Do not confuse the 508 W of the charger (its power) with the 700 Wh of the battery (its capacity): these are two different units.
The PX Carbon retains exactly the same travel as the Carbon Pro: 160 mm at the front And 150 mm at the rear, with a FOX 36 Performance with GRIP cartridge and shock absorber FOX Float X Performance in 210 × 55 mm. The difference with the Pro version (FOX Factory, GRIP X2 cartridge) lies in the number of available settings and the refinement of the damping, not in the absorption capacity itself: the Performance line remains a serious range at FOX, simply less finely adjustable than the Factory.
As a starting point, allow approximately 15 to 20% sag at the fork And 25 to 30% at the rear shock absorber — the suspension travel once installed on the bike in riding position. Adjusting the suspension to your weight remains essential to properly utilize these suspensions, regardless of the FOX model installed.
The PX Carbon inherits the same platform as the Carbon Pro, with a build Mullet: a front wheel of 29 inches which promotes obstacle clearance and stability, and a rear wheel of 27.5 inches more compact which provides maneuverability and facilitates repositioning the rear of the bike in technical sequences.
The geometry also remains fully adjustable: 5 steering angle positions (from -1° to +1° around the original 64.2°), 2 bottom bracket heights And 4 base lengths, or up to 40 possible combinations. A wider angle favors stability at high speeds, a narrower angle makes steering more responsive; a higher housing protects ground clearance on rough terrain, a lower position lowers the center of gravity. LVR Cycles, We recommend starting from the original configuration — which is already very well developed — and only adjusting it once you are familiar with the bike's behavior on your usual terrain.
Contrary to popular belief, the PX Carbon is not equipped with a mechanical transmission: it also receives a wireless electronic transmission SRAM S1000 Eagle Transmission, controlled from a command SRAM AXS Pod Controller, with a cassette SRAM XS-1270 10-52 teeth and Avinox SL cranks (155 mm in M/L, 160 mm in XL/XXL).
The difference with the Carbon Pro and its SRAM The X0 Eagle Transmission is therefore not a matter of mechanical versus electronic, but rather a choice between two price levels within the ecosystem. SRAM AXS Eagle Transmission: the S1000 is the first step in this electronic family, while the X0 represents a higher level, with an AXS Pod Rocker control and an XS-1295 cassette. Wireless operation, no cables to adjust and the precision of gear changes remain the same on both versions.
The PX Carbon shares the same braking system as the Pro version. Magura Gustav Pro, four-piston hydraulic with large discs suitable for serious Enduro use — braking power is not enough if it does not last when braking is repeated on descents.
The tires are also identical: Schwalbe Magic Mary Radial 29 × 2.5 at the front for grip and steering control, and Schwalbe Albert Radial 27.5 × 2.5 at the rear, which must simultaneously manage traction, braking and transmitted engine torque.
Where the Carbon Pro receives Amflow XMC-30 carbon wheels, the PX Carbon is equipped with aluminum wheels in the same Mullet configuration, with an internal width of 30 mm and Tubeless Ready compatibility at the front and rear.
An aluminum rim is slightly heavier than an equivalent carbon rim, but it generally withstands hard impacts against rocks or roots better without cracking, and replacing it if it breaks is significantly cheaper. For very regular enduro use on rough terrain, this is a worthwhile trade-off, and many experienced riders deliberately prefer it to carbon fiber.
The telescopic seatpost allows you to lower the saddle from the handlebars before a descent or technical section, with travel of 190 mm in M/L, , 210 mm in XL And 230 mm in XXL, Adjustable via 0/5/10/15/20 mm shims. The control system uses the same screen. 2-inch color OLED and the Avinox Ride app, with offline navigation, heart rate tracking and light control — the entire connected ecosystem of the Carbon Pro is therefore identical to this version.
Namely: The IoT service (advanced connected features of the Avinox app) is included as standard on the PX Carbon Pro, whereas it must be purchased separately on the PX Carbon. Please feel free to ask us for details of this offer before placing your order.
The frame, geometry, Avinox M2S motor, and 700 Wh battery are identical. The Carbon Pro is distinguished by a drivetrain SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission (one level above the S1000 of the PX Carbon, both being electronic), XMC-30 carbon wheels, more adjustable FOX Factory suspension, and IoT service included.
Not for the power and chassis behavior, which are identical. The difference is felt mainly in the refinement of the suspension settings and in the weight, slightly higher with aluminum wheels (approximately 21.0 to 21.5 kg depending on the size, compared to 20.6 to 21.1 kg for the Carbon Pro).
Electronics. The PX Carbon receives a SRAM The S1000 Eagle features wireless transmission, just like the Carbon Pro. The difference between the two versions is a product line within the same AXS family (S1000 vs. X0), not a choice between mechanical and electronic shifting.
This combination, called Mullet, combines the off-road capability and stability of a 29-inch front wheel with the maneuverability of a more compact 27.5-inch rear wheel.
As with the entire Amflow range, we tend to recommend the larger size when a rider is truly between two sizes. Contact us. LVR Cycles using your height, inseam and riding style to validate this choice.
The PX Carbon allows us to answer a question we are often asked when trying the Carbon Pro at LVR Cycles "Do I really have to pay extra for carbon wheels and a higher level of finish?" For many riders, the answer is no — especially since the wireless electronic drivetrain, often seen as a selling point of the high-end range, is already standard on this version.
The frame, adjustable geometry, and especially the Avinox M2S motor with its 150 Nm and 1500 W peak power are exactly the same as on the Carbon Pro. Therefore, the climbing performance and the riding pleasure thanks to the Mullet setup remain unchanged.
We recommend the PX Carbon to the rider who wants a true Amflow Enduro e-MTB, with the same power, the same geometry and a wireless electronic transmission as standard, but with aluminum wheels that are more robust for everyday use than a carbon rim.

Identical geometry to that of the PX Carbon Pro: both versions share the same carbon frame.
The PX Carbon is slightly heavier than the Carbon Pro in each size (approximately 20.6 to 21.1 kg depending on the size on the Pro version), the difference being explained by the aluminium wheels instead of the XMC-30 carbon wheels.
The advertised weights are measured according to the Amflow protocol (mudguards, lights, pedals and frame protection film removed, wheels mounted tubeless) and may vary depending on the configuration, accessories and manufacturing tolerances.
Choosing between the PX Carbon and the PX Carbon Pro isn't always straightforward on paper, since the motor, battery, and geometry are identical. LVR Cycles, We can help you decide based on your actual use: frequency of outings, terrain, budget, and the importance you place on carbon wheels or the AXS range level of the drivetrain.
Our team has tested both versions of the PX platform. We can also assist you with sizing and suspension and geometry adjustments once the bike is delivered.
