A single gel. It's a bold statement. But nonetheless true. From a technical standpoint, traditional gels consist of water and carbohydrates simply mixed in syrups often containing artificial flavorings and preservatives. The GEL 100 is totally different. It is a biopolymer matrix containing a unique blend of fructose and glucose (ratio of 0.8:1) which allows the absorption of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour.

GEL 100 was developed using natural hydrogel technology and 6 natural ingredients. It contains no coloring or preservatives, and is sold in 40g sachets containing 60% carbohydrates, a high weight-to-energy ratio.

INSTRUCTIONS

The gel should be consumed a few minutes before, during and/or directly after activity.

ENERGY AMOUNT

Studies have shown that our bodies can use up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour. Researchers have recently shown that a fructose-to-glucose ratio of 0.8:1 allows for even greater intake of up to 100 grams per hour. The GEL 100 was developed on the basis of this ratio and contains a large amount of energy. One sachet contains 25 grams of carbohydrates.

HOW IT WORKS?

The GEL 100 was developed using hydrogel* technology. The hydrogel allows carbohydrates to be easily transported from the stomach to the intestine where they are then absorbed along with water and salt.
