Repente Artax GLM Saddle

With the Repente Artax GLM saddle : width and performance go hand in hand. Artax GLM is the 142mm wide version of the lightweight and versatile Artax GL saddle.

The anatomical shape of the rear and the pressure relief channel have been designed to prevent numbness and pain on uneven terrain. Another feature is the square shape of the front padding, which provides greater support when pedaling in the "saddle toe" position.

One of the problems that can arise with a wide saddle is that the size of the saddle can hinder the free movement of the muscles of the inner thigh, with consequences on the comfort and effectiveness of the pedal push. We have overcome this drawback by shaping the saddle in such a way that it does not create any obstacles to the movement of the joint and leg (ERGO SHAPE).

The proprietary RLS system allows the seat cover to be easily replaced without having to change the base. By the way, double coupled bases provide better absorption of vertical vibrations transmitted through the ground.

The differentiated section rail is made of UD carbon fiber. The shell is constructed using LCF (Long Carbon Fibers) technology, which makes the saddle just stiff enough and non-deformable over time.

The padding is in Eva, a very light material, made thicker at the most delicate support points to maximize comfort even on uneven terrain, for those who prefer a more upright sitting position and those who often use the lower part of the handlebars.

Covering: Water-based non-slip cover material, just as effective when wet.
