Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RCX Classic 700x35C gravel tire

Following the success of the Cinturato Gravel RC, the first race-specific gravel tire from the Pirelli brand, an even more resistant version has been developed: the Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RC-X Classic 700x35C tire . This model is designed to tackle rough surfaces gravel racing with the new Techwall X Gravel structure. Its 60 TPI fabric casing extends beyond the tread, with additional protection from bead to bead. While retaining the distinctive design of the tread of the RC models, the Cinturato Gravel RC X is specially designed for the toughest gravel races.

SpeedGRIP Compound

The SpeedGRIP compound is a gravel-specific rubber formula derived from Pirelli’s experience in the World Rally Championship, where speed and grip on and off-road are essential. This formulation is based on the polymer matrix of the SmartGRIP compound , designed for mountain biking, while reducing rolling resistance. Gravel riding demands include speed needs and solid road performance. Pirelli engineers have therefore adjusted the compound properties to improve energy efficiency with a slight compromise in grip. The result is a predictable compound offering balanced performance on and off-road.
