The Cervélo AB09 Flared handlebar is an evolution of the original AB09, originally designed for S-series aero road bikes. With the rise of gravel and all-road bikes, this model now adopts a 16° flare at the drops. This opening allows for better weight distribution on rough terrain, providing more stability and better control when the hands are at the bottom of the bars.

Made from UD carbon with a slightly aerodynamic upper profile, the AB09 Flared stands out for its stiffness under stress and comfortable handling. It allows for excellent hand and lever positions, with full compatibility with Di2 groupsets and internal routing. Its compact design, with an 80 mm reach and a 128 mm drop , ensures quick and safe transitions between different riding positions.

Textured areas on the stem and levers ensure a secure fit, even on the roughest roads, while limiting the need for over-tightening. The carbon fiber used also offers excellent vibration damping.
