Hardshell technology with In-Mold Hardbody™ Lower Wrap

The two-piece shell combines a rugged outer shell with a polycarbonate lower shell, permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight.

Mips® integrated brain protection system

All Giro helmets are designed to minimize energy while meeting or exceeding strict safety standards. The goal of Giro helmets equipped with integrated Mips technology is to reduce rotational forces while improving fit and comfort by combining the Mips sliding plane with the helmet adjustment system. The Giro brand believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that can be transferred to the rider's brain during certain impacts.

Roc Loc® 5 Air Mips fit system

This revolutionary fit system adds a new dimension to helmet performance by improving cooling, as well as comfort and stability. Thanks to a patented design that slightly suspends the helmet above the crown of the head, the Roc Loc 5 Air Mips allows fresh air to flow directly over your head, improving the performance of the vents and internal channels that evacuate the helmet heat. The fit adjustments mimic those of the Roc Loc 5 Mips, allowing you to easily adjust the helmet's tension and tilt back and forth in seconds with just one hand.

Wind tunnel ventilation

Giro helmets are developed using the exclusive Wind Tunnel ventilation system. This intricate design combines active vents in the helmet shell with exhaust channels inside that propel cool, fresh air around the rider's head while expelling heat and stale air. Progressive Lamination™

Giro helmets with Progressive Lamination™ use two EPS foam liners of different densities to more comprehensively manage the energy of high and low speed impacts.
