The Bikone DCTech BSA bottom bracket - Steel bearings - Shimano MTB is specially designed for mountain bikers looking for robustness and performance on the most demanding trails. Compatibility

Compatible with BSA threaded frames (BSA diameter, 73 mm width) and Shimano cranksets with 24 mm axle. Uses a standard BSA/ITA tool for assembly and disassembly (44 mm outer diameter, 42.7 mm inner diameter, 16 notches).

Technology and design

The Dual Cup system relies on two perfectly aligned aluminum cups, creating a rigid connection that eliminates unwanted noise and movement. This housing is equipped with chrome steel bearings (ABEC5 / P5 – 2RS), for increased longevity and smoothness.

The cups are made from aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum and are T6 heat-treated, ensuring long-term strength and corrosion resistance. This fully sealed housing is protected by axial seals on the bearings and a complete closure on all surfaces to block out water and dust.

Its asymmetrical design allows for a stronger structure by occupying the space previously dedicated to a shim. In addition, the number of notches has been reduced to make the component lighter.
