Compatibility

This bottom bracket is compatible with 73mm wide BSA threaded frames (used on mountain bikes) and Shimano cranksets with a 24mm axle. It is mounted using a standard BSA/ITA 16-notch tool (44mm external diameter, 42.7mm internal diameter).

Technology and design

This case is based on Dual Cup technology, with two perfectly aligned aluminum cups to form a rigid central junction, eliminating noise and unwanted movement. It is equipped with hybrid ceramic bearings (ABEC5 / P5 – 2RS) for maximum smoothness.

The cups are made from aircraft grade 6061 aluminum, heat treated (T6) for strength and longevity.

This model is asymmetrical: it occupies the space normally reserved for a spacer, which makes it more robust without compromising alignment.

It is fully sealed, with axial seals on the bearings and total protection against dust and moisture.

The number of pins has been reduced to make the case lighter without affecting its strength.
