The new Shimano Acera RD-T3000 rear derailleur has been completely redesigned and now follows in the footsteps of high-end component groups. Even though it was developed for beginners, it still benefits from the best technology of recent years. Among the most important innovations of the Shimano Acera RD-T3000 is on the one hand the clear separation into a new MTB groupset and on the other hand the targeted use for groupsets developed for trekking. It has a long cage and is made of aluminum. Shadow technology provides excellent protection and increases the longevity of this 9-speed rear derailleur. Cassettes with up to 34 teeth can thus be moved. Longevity and stiffness are further enhanced with the Wide Link design.
