The SHIMANO Deore RD-M5100 rear derailleur is shown here in a version with a long cage and a 13-tooth upper pulley, which is suitable for 11-speed single chainring drivetrains.

Above all, it uses Shadow RD+ technology, used on higher-end models! It offers the derailleur better chain retention and a more compact design, which exposes it less to external elements (branches, rocks, etc.) likely to damage it. It thus offers a fluid, silent and reassuring quality of use.
