The Fox Podium Factory 170mm 68HT marks a major step forward in the single crown fork category. Designed to be ridden with the confidence of a downhill model, it combines handling, stiffness and performance. Its innovative architecture maintains the familiar feel in terms of travel and geometry, while offering the stability of a double crown chassis.

The inverted design, long limited by rigidity issues, now benefits from a 20 x 110 mm steel Boost DH axle, guaranteeing optimal resistance to twisting. This solution has been proven and approved through demanding tests carried out in real conditions by FOX engineers and athletes.

The GlideCore air spring provides a smoother ride thanks to reduced friction and dynamic load adaptation. Combined with large nitrile bushings, it improves lateral and longitudinal movement control, limiting rider fatigue on long descents. On the hydraulic side, the widely acclaimed Grip X2 cartridge has been optimized for this model to provide more compression support, compensating for the low friction of the inverted chassis. The result: better traction, a higher position in the travel, and appreciable energy conservation during fast sequences.

With its 36mm Kashima Coat-treated stanchions, 47mm forks, and reinforced crown, this fork is as stiff as a FOX 40 while remaining compact and easy to handle with a single crown. It is aimed at demanding riders, whether they are competitive or keen on challenging descents.

Special features

Tapered steerer tube available in two diameters: 58 mm (58HT) for muscle bikes and 68 mm (68HT) for e-bikes. This adaptation guarantees optimal compatibility depending on the type of riding. Some bikes are designed with a larger diameter head tube, compatible with a slightly larger triple clamp. 58 and 68 mm triple clamps are compatible with all head tube sizes, but it is best to choose the correct triple clamp size for a perfect fit.

Suspension

Float Evol Glidecore air spring and Grip X2 hydraulic cartridge with independent adjustments:

• High speed trigger: 8 clicks
• Low speed trigger: 16 clicks
• High-speed compression: 8 clicks
• Low speed compression: 18 clicks

The cartridge incorporates 23 internal valves (compared to 7 on a Grip2), a bleeder system and a 24 mm base valve for increased control.

Chassis

Inverted frame with 47mm forks, 36mm Kashima coated stanchions, 243mm 1"1/8 - 1.5" tapered steerer, 44mm offset and 200mm Postmount mount (compatible up to 230mm). 20x110mm steel DH Boost axle in black finish.

Wheels

Designed for 29" wheels.
