LEATT Velocity 4.0 MTB X-Flow Iriz Goggles — Maximum ventilation and bulletproof protection for mountain biking

The LEATT Velocity 4.0 MTB X-Flow Iriz goggles are available in the iriz black bronze 68 vlt colorway. They combine the airy feel of sunglasses with the full coverage of goggles, for demanding riders who refuse to compromise between thermal comfort and visual protection.

Screen and optics

The RideViz MTB WideVision lens offers an expanded 170° field of vision, ensuring smooth, blind-spot-free terrain reading. Iriz technology applies a mirror coating that effectively reduces glare in bright sunlight while blocking a greater proportion of visible light. A permanent anti-fog coating maintains optical clarity even during sustained effort, while the scratch-resistant finish protects the lens over time. Certified bulletproof to ANSI Z87.1-2015 and the MIL-DTL-43511D ballistic impact military standard, this lens provides a high level of eye protection. The goggle also complies with PPE (EU) Regulation 2016/425. Additional Velocity lenses are available separately to customize the optics to suit different conditions.

Headband and comfort

The 50mm MaxiVent anti-slip mesh headband promotes continuous airflow through the helmet vents, even when the helmet is fully ventilated. The dual-layer, sweat-wicking face foam is intentionally minimal, replicating the lightweight feel and comfort of sunglasses. OTG (Over The Glasses) compatibility allows the goggles to be worn comfortably over prescription glasses without pressure or discomfort.

Aeration

The Velocity 4.0 X-Flow's frame is completely open at the top and bottom, eliminating any barriers to airflow. The self-draining lower frame also allows for the natural removal of mud and debris, making it a particularly suitable choice for rides in warm weather or on muddy terrain. This open design clearly distinguishes the X-Flow from traditional closed-frame goggles.

Headset compatibility

The 50mm MaxiVent band is designed not to obstruct the vents of full-face or enduro mountain bike helmets, ensuring optimal synergy between the mask and the helmet to maintain efficient airflow in all circumstances.
