Ergon GE1 Evo Risky Red MTB Grips

The Ergon GE1 Evo Risky Red grips are the evolution of the success of the Ergon GE1 model. It was specifically developed for Enduro World Series racing. The first ergonomic rider-oriented grip for wide handlebars with more comfort, a more precise grip feel and better performance.

Ergonomic body position

The grip surface is designed to actively support the more aggressive and wider technical riding position. By rotating 8 degrees relative to the handlebar axis, the elbows automatically lift outwards when gripping! This gives you maximum control at all times, even on the most difficult enduro trails.

Precision

The GE1 Evo offers precise grip control thanks to its ergonomic shape and texture layout. This allows the rider to save energy normally wasted with greater grip strength on a non-ergonomic handle. Available in two diameters (Standard and Slim), suitable for different hand sizes and grip preferences.

Maximum grip

The increase in grip control is due to the specific texture layout and ergonomic shape. Having the texture oriented against the grip force prevents hand rotation and improves control for greater comfort and performance.

Optimal pressure distribution

The GE1 features a soft rubber teardrop shape on the inside for the thumb area. The handle then widens towards the outer edge to allow for better pressure distribution. The texture extends to the end of the handle and protects the pressure-sensitive ulnar nerve from compression. Better distribution of pressure in this area helps prevent common nerve problems such as tingling, discomfort and numbness.

Construction of the inner core

The wall thickness of the handle varies within the inner core. This allows specific delivery of vibration damping in commonly very sensitive areas. The GE1 Evo provides additional cushioning comfort at the outboard end with the handle end fully integrated. This creates a soft, cushioned grip edge.

The material used in Ergon grips meets the highest purity standards, is TÜV certified, durable and absolutely unique in the world of bicycle grips. Developed without fillers and using medical grade white oil as the only plasticizer. The UV-resistant rubber compound was developed and is manufactured exclusively for Ergon in Germany. Ergonomics, product design and engineering – everything is made in Germany.
