Design

In-Mold Construction

The Abus CliffHanger helmet uses an In-Mold manufacturing process. The inner EPS foam is directly injected into the outer polycarbonate shell, resulting in a durable, robust, and lightweight structure.

Outer shell made of polycarbonate

The outer polycarbonate shell protects the helmet structure from impacts, scratches and wear and tear from regular mountain biking use.

Lower edge protection

The outer shell also covers the lower edge of the helmet. This additional protection limits wear and tear, scratches, and minor impacts on exposed areas.

ActiCage Structure

The ActiCage reinforcement improves the helmet's structure while allowing for the integration of large ventilation openings. It thus contributes to the overall stability of the helmet without compromising airflow.

Half retaining ring
