Design

Children's Full Face Helmet

The Abus YouDrop FF is a full-face helmet designed specifically for children. It allows young cyclists to benefit from protection inspired by more aggressive mountain bike helmets, while maintaining a design adapted to their head shape.

Removable chin strap

The chin guard is removable. The helmet can therefore be used in a full-face configuration for more technical outings or in an open-face configuration for more relaxed rides.

In-Mold Construction

The helmet uses an In-Mold manufacturing process. The inner EPS foam is directly injected into the outer polycarbonate shell, resulting in a durable, robust and lightweight structure.

Half retaining ring

The fastening system is based on a half-ring which allows the helmet to be properly adjusted around the child's head.

Sewn straps

The straps are sewn and do not require a strap adjuster. They stay securely in place and minimize unwanted movement while driving.

Protection

Face and chin protection

In full-face configuration, the chin guard protects sensitive areas of the face, particularly the jaw and chin. It provides additional protection during descents, technical sections, or small, intense actions.

Removable visor with Break-Away function

The visor is attached to the helmet with Velcro. It protects against sunlight and low-hanging branches, while being designed to detach automatically in the event of a fall to reduce pressure on the neck.

Reflective sticker

A reflective sticker improves visibility in the dark or when light diminishes, to enhance the child's safety.

Integrated insect netting

The integrated mosquito nets keep insects away during the ride, without blocking helmet ventilation.

Comfort

Zoom Spin adjustment system

Comfort cushions

The comfort cushions are soft and pleasant against the head. They are attached inside the helmet with Velcro so they can be easily removed.

The padding can be removed and hand-washed. It can also be replaced if necessary to maintain a good level of hygiene and comfort.

The chin strap uses a classic snap closure. It allows for simple, practical and secure opening and closing.
