Design

In-Mold Construction

The Abus MoDrop helmet uses an In-Mold manufacturing process. The inner EPS foam is directly injected into the outer polycarbonate shell, resulting in a durable, robust, and lightweight structure.

Outer shell made of polycarbonate

The outer polycarbonate shell protects the helmet structure from impacts, scratches and wear and tear associated with regular mountain biking use.

Lower edge protection

The outer shell also covers the lower edge of the helmet. This additional protection limits scratches, minor impacts, and wear on the most exposed areas.

Two-part outer shell

The two-part outer shell protects the lower edge while offering greater design freedom for the helmet. The MoDrop thus combines functional construction with a modern and dynamic design.

Half retaining ring
