Construction and materials

The polymer composite shell reduces weight without compromising strength. The impact foam is molded directly to the shell, optimizing energy absorption across the entire protective surface. The combination of a rigid shell and structured foam forms the basis of Leatt 's 3-in-1 safety system, further enhanced by Turbine 360° technology.

360° Turbine Technology

At the heart of the helmet, Leatt 's Turbine 360° technology works on two complementary levels. First, the optimally designed and positioned turbine discs allow the helmet to move slightly relative to the head upon impact, thus reducing the maximum acceleration transmitted to the head and brain. Second, these elements absorb the energy of low-speed impacts, where conventional foam alone is insufficient. The result is a 3-in-1 protection system: low-speed impacts, high-speed impacts, and rotational forces are all addressed simultaneously.

Ventilation

The 20 vents distributed across the shell ensure efficient airflow even at low speeds, during long climbs and on technical sections. The breathable, moisture-wicking inner lining completes this system, keeping your head dry throughout your ride.

Comfort and fit

The occipital retention system with a micrometric buckle allows for precise and personalized adjustment for optimal stability regardless of head shape. The Flat Lock strap separator keeps the straps in place without unpleasant chafing. The Fidlock magnetic buckle makes it easy to put on and take off the helmet with one hand, even while wearing gloves. The inner lining is breathable, odor-resistant, and fully washable. Dedicated notches allow for secure storage of sunglasses arms. The adjustable and removable visor adds extra protection in the event of a fall by helping to reduce rotational impact forces.
