Construction and materials

The lightweight polymer composite shell ensures excellent strength without adding weight. The impact foam, molded directly to the shell, provides optimal energy absorption during high-speed impacts, while the breathable, odor-resistant, and washable inner lining effectively wicks away moisture throughout your workout. The visor is both adjustable and fully detachable, helping to reduce rotational impact forces in the event of a fall.

360° Turbine Technology

Leatt 's 3-in-1 safety system is based on Turbine 360° technology, which incorporates "turbine" discs positioned between the skull and the foam. Upon impact, these discs allow for slight relative movement of the helmet on the head, reducing the maximum acceleration transmitted to the brain and mitigating rotational forces. Combined with the molded impact foam, this technology simultaneously covers low-speed impacts, high-speed impacts, and rotational forces, providing comprehensive and proven protection.

Ventilation

The 20 vents distributed across the shell ensure continuous and efficient airflow, even at low speeds. This constant airflow maintains a comfortable head temperature on long climbs as well as challenging descents, without ever compromising the structural integrity of the shell.

The Fidlock magnetic buckle allows you to fasten or unfasten the chin strap with one hand, in a quick, easy motion, even while wearing gloves. The soft-touch chin strap wicks away moisture for comfortable, extended wear. The occipital retention system with a micrometric buckle offers precise, personalized adjustment for head circumference and stability, complemented by a Flat Lock strap divider for accurate positioning. Dedicated slots also allow for easy and secure storage of sunglasses.
