The LEATT Gravity 1.0 MTB Helmet in red is the ultimate all-around helmet designed for beginner, occasional, or progressing riders who want serious protection without compromising on safety. Whether in bike parks, on downhill trails, or on pump tracks, this helmet offers complete coverage at a price-to-performance ratio that's hard to beat.
The Gravity 1.0's shell is made of robust polymer composite, offering reliable impact resistance session after session. The impact foam is molded directly to the shell, ensuring excellent energy absorption during impacts. Together, they form a 3-in-1 protection system that covers both low-speed impacts and more demanding situations.
The Gravity 1.0 incorporates Leatt 's exclusive Turbine 360° technology, designed to significantly reduce rotational forces transmitted to the brain during an impact. The "turbine" discs allow the helmet to shift slightly on the head upon impact, thus limiting the maximum acceleration to which the head and brain are subjected. Combined with the impact foam, this technology forms a unique 3-in-1 safety system that protects against low- and high-speed impacts as well as rotational forces.
The Gravity 1.0's air intakes are intentionally left without mesh grilles, promoting optimal airflow through the helmet. This design choice makes it an excellent companion for hot days in the mountains, where thermal management becomes a crucial comfort factor.
The inner lining is breathable, odor-resistant, and fully washable, with moisture-wicking properties to keep you feeling fresh throughout your session. It fastens with a Double-D ring closure, renowned for its reliability and security. The visor is detachable and designed to reduce rotational impact forces in the event of a fall. The helmet is also compatible with Leatt neck braces for complete neck and shoulder protection.
The Gravity 1.0 is certified according to the most demanding international standards for downhill and mountain bike helmets: ASTM F1952-10 (downhill mountain biking), EN1078 , CPSC 1203 and AS/NZS 2063:2008 . These certifications guarantee a validated level of protection for downhill riding in real-world conditions.
