Construction and materials

The polymer composite shell houses a dual-density impact foam combining molded EPS and EPO. This combination ensures superior energy absorption during both low-speed impacts and high-speed collisions. 360° Turbine Technology

At the heart of the Gravity 4.0, Leatt 's exclusive Turbine 360° technology forms a unique 3-in-1 safety system. Geometrically optimized "turbine" discs allow for slight movement of the helmet on the head upon impact, thus reducing the maximum acceleration transmitted to the skull and brain. This system simultaneously protects against rotational forces, low-energy impacts, and high-speed impacts, where conventional EPS foam alone is insufficient. The detachable visor also helps dissipate rotational forces in the event of a fall, adding an extra layer of protection.
