Construction and materials

The polymer composite shell houses a dual-density impact foam combining molded EPS and EPO, offering superior energy absorption against impacts of all kinds. The whole structure is both robust and lightweight, designed to absorb falls without adding weight on long climbs.

360° Turbine Technology

The Gravity 4.0 incorporates Leatt 's exclusive Turbine 360° technology, a highly effective 3-in-1 safety system. Strategically positioned "turbine" discs allow for slight movement of the helmet on the head upon impact, thus reducing the maximum acceleration transmitted to the skull and brain. This system simultaneously protects against low-speed impacts, high-speed shocks, and rotational forces, covering all crash scenarios encountered in demanding riding.

Ventilation

With its 22 carefully distributed vents across the shell, the Gravity 4.0 ensures efficient airflow even at low speeds, whether in the forest or pedaling uphill. The removable chin guard also allows you to adjust the air intake at the front of the helmet depending on the conditions and intensity of the effort, offering welcome versatility between liaison sections and special stages.

Comfort and fit

The Dri-Lex® inner lining actively wicks away moisture while remaining breathable and odor-resistant—two essential qualities for long days on the road. It's fully washable for easy maintenance between rides. The Fidlock magnetic buckle allows for quick and easy one-handed locking and unlocking, even with gloves, for fast and effortless transitions. The detachable visor completes the package by reducing rotational impact forces in the event of a crash.

Certifications

The Gravity 4.0 MTB Helmet is certified to AS/NZS 2063:2008, ASTM F1952-10, EN1078, and CPSC 1203 standards, covering the most demanding international downhill standards. It is also compatible with Leatt neck braces for maximum head-to-shoulder protection.
