The LEATT MTB Gravity 6.0 Carbon helmet in stealth black/grey represents the culmination of Leatt engineering for riders who make no compromises between lightness, protection and ventilation on the descent.

Construction and materials

The Gravity 6.0's shell is made of thermoplastic carbon, a material that is more flexible and impact-resistant than traditional thermosetting carbon, while also being more environmentally friendly. The chin bar is made of high-strength polymer. Underneath this shell, a dual-density impact foam combining EPS and EPO provides superior energy absorption, suitable for both low-speed impacts and the violent shocks encountered in downhill mountain biking.

360° Turbine Technology

The Gravity 6.0 incorporates Leatt 's exclusive Turbine 360° technology, a 3-in-1 security system that operates on three levels of protection:

• Reduction of rotational forces : the "turbine" discs are designed to allow slight movement of the helmet on the head during an oblique impact, thus reducing the maximum acceleration transmitted to the brain.
• Low-speed impact management : the EPO structure effectively absorbs the low-intensity shocks common in bike parks.
• High-speed impact protection : EPS foam takes over to dissipate energy during high-speed falls, characteristic of timed downhill.

Ventilation

With its 22 carefully positioned vents across the shell, the Gravity 6.0 ensures maximum airflow, even while pedaling. The chin vent cover is removable, allowing you to adjust the airflow according to the conditions—open for climbs, closed to protect against spray on fast descents.

Comfort and fit

The X-Static® inner lining is breathable, odor-resistant, and fully washable, ensuring optimal comfort during long rides. The visor is detachable and comes with a visor extension for harsh weather conditions; in the event of a fall, it is designed to reduce rotational impact force. The DD buckle closure system ensures a precise and secure fit. The helmet is also compatible with Leatt neck braces for complete neck and spine protection.

The Gravity 6.0 Carbon is certified according to the most demanding standards on the market: ASTM F1952–15 (downhill mountain biking), AS/NZS 2063:2008 , EN1078 and CPSC 1203 , guaranteeing a level of protection validated for competition as well as for committed practice.
