E-mountain bikers have the ability to stay seated in steeper and more rugged terrain, so their saddle requirements are slightly different. For this reason, Ergon has developed a special men's saddle for E-MTBs.

ENERGY SAVING RAMP

The SM E-Mountain Men significantly improves your sitting position while climbing. The rising ramp at the back gives you a stable and effortless grip when climbing. We also designed the nose of the saddle to be particularly wide and comfortable, as the seat position often shifts forward in extremely steep sections.

DEEP RELIEF CHANNEL

The progressive relief channel, which deepens towards the rear, leads to an opening through the saddle shell. This construction combines all the advantages of a cut-out saddle without the potential drawbacks. This design gives the saddle shell more forgiveness and specifically relieves perineal pressure. Too much pressure in this area often leads to discomfort and numbness in the genital area.

ORTHOCELL ® PADS

The new OrthoCell ® material helps you achieve your best performance without any complaints. These inlays, more durable and lighter than gel, ensure the best pressure distribution and provide the highest rebound force. This means that they follow the movements of the pelvis with each turn of the crank, but return very quickly to their starting position.

ORTHOPEDIC FOAM

The orthopedic foam is particularly ergonomic for mountain biking, but still extremely durable. With the addition of OrthoCell® inlays, pressure from bony structures is much better distributed increasing rebound force and dissipating vibration.

ANTI-FRICTION SIDE PANELS

For an added benefit of comfort, we've added anti-friction sidewalls to the SM-E Mountain saddle. This feature reduces the friction of your thighs on the saddle while pedaling, resulting in less friction and more freedom of movement.

INTEGRATED QUICKCLICK BRACKET

A Topeak QuickClick bracket is integrated in all models of the SM-E Mountain series. This removable QuickClick bracket allows Topeak panniers to be easily attached in a simplified way.
