The LEATT ProClip 5.0 shoes in black are designed for demanding riders who seek stiffness, protection, and grip on the most technical trails. Built for enduro and aggressive trail riding, they combine cutting-edge technologies in a robust and lightweight package, ensuring optimal foot-to-pedal connection in all conditions.
The ProClip 5.0's upper combines high-strength Dyneema fabric with PU leather for a lightweight yet extremely durable construction. Injected TPU reinforcements protect vulnerable areas from impacts and the elements, while the molded rigid toe cap provides effective frontal protection. The PU leather and polymer mesh tongue makes them easy to slip on, and the directional fabric at the heel provides superior support while minimizing internal slippage for optimal foot stability.
The Control Flex nylon construction delivers a semi-rigid flex with a stiffness index of 6, ideal for efficient power transfer and precise pedal feel. The Waffle Grip outsole with RideGrip compound offers exceptional grip on the pedal as well as maximum resistance to tearing, punctures, and abrasion. The aggressive lugs also ensure good traction when carrying the bike or on muddy sections. The anti-compression EVA insole incorporates activated carbon material for efficient moisture wicking, quick drying, and antibacterial and odor-resistant properties, guaranteeing hygiene and comfort on long rides.
The MOZ cable lacing system, positioned on the top of the shoe, allows for precise, one-handed micro-adjustments, whether in the saddle or at a standstill. Easy to operate even with gloves, this system guarantees consistent and secure tightening in all circumstances, without the risk of laces coming undone on the trail.
The ProClip 5.0 shoes are designed for use with SPD-type 2-point MTB clipless pedals, offering optimal compatibility with the most common clipless systems in enduro mountain biking.
