Maxxis Assegai 29x2.50WT: Enhanced protection for demanding terrain

A reinforced 29-inch mountain bike tire for enduro

The Maxxis Assegai 29x2.50WT 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ Tubeless Ready mountain bike tire is a reinforced version designed for demanding trail and enduro riding. Its 120 TPI casing works with EXO+ protection to offer precise deformation while increasing resistance to punctures, cuts, and pinch flats.

The 3C MaxxTerra compound maintains strong traction without the extremely soft rubber of MaxxGrip. The Wide Trail profile preserves the tread shape on modern wide rims.

The tire is compatible with Tubeless Ready mounting and accepts a maximum pressure of 50 PSI.

EXO+

The SilkShield layer extends from bead to bead and works in conjunction with EXO sidewall protection. This combination aims for balanced protection of the entire frame.

120 TPI Carcass

The thin casing enhances terrain tracking and pressure sensitivity. It is complemented by the reinforcements necessary for Enduro use.

3C MaxxTerra

The compound offers a compromise between traction, performance and tread wear resistance.
