The Maxxis Assegai 29x2.60 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ Tubeless Ready mountain bike tire is the reinforced version of the 29x2.60 model designed for aggressive trail and enduro riding. It combines a high-volume profile, a thin 120 TPI casing, and EXO+ protection covering the tread and sidewalls.

The 3C MaxxTerra compound provides strong traction with a more balanced compromise between performance and wear resistance than the 3C MaxxGrip. The Assegai tread pattern ensures a smooth transition between the center and side lugs.

The Tubeless Ready design allows the tire to be used without an inner tube and with a compatible sealant. The maximum recommended pressure is 40 PSI.

EXO+ Protection

The SilkShield layer extends from bead to bead, while EXO reinforces the sidewalls. According to Maxxis , this combination improves tread protection, lateral durability, and pinch flats resistance.

120 TPI Carcass

The high yarn density allows for precise deformation over small obstacles and uneven terrain. EXO+ protection completes this casing for more demanding use.

3C MaxxTerra Compound

The 3C MaxxTerra is positioned between the MaxxSpeed and the MaxxGrip. It offers more grip than the former and greater performance and longevity than the latter.
