Bead2Bead Protek

This technology consists of an extremely dense cross-woven protective layer that surrounds and protects the entire tire carcass - center of the tread and shoulders. As a result, the center of the tread and the shoulders of the tire are reinforced, resulting in a tire with excellent puncture protection and long durability. Michelin tires with Bead2Bead Protek have been developed above all for demanding cyclists looking for the best compromise between puncture resistance, durability and weight.

Tubeless Ready

These tires can also be used in tubeless version. A tubeless rim (UST) is required and it is important not to exceed the maximum inflation pressure, indicated on the sidewall of the tire. In addition, you need a compliant sealing fluid and the tire pressure must be checked before each ride.

E-Bike Ready (up to 25 km/h)

For normal pedelecs and bicycles with pedal assistance up to 25 km / h, there is no legal obligation to use a certain type of tire. However, the stresses and average speeds are higher than for normal bikes. This is why Michelin recommends the use of special tires on your e-bike.
